I am going to Stockholm, Sweden tomorrow! Going to be there for a couple days and then I will be back- I think the place I am staying has internet so I will be on sporadically. This is my first real trip to Europe, I've only been to London's Heathrow Airport once and that's my own time in Europe, looking forward to my time in Scandanavia. Weather looks good, seats looks good... gonna make it happen!

I also found out yesterday that my airline will be starting a new route to Rio de Janeiro (GIG) on December 2nd, so I will try to get down there before the end of the year! I've never been to anywhere in S. America... and that would make my 5th continent visited this year, 6th total of 7. (Since I will be going to Africa and the Philippines on vacation in November- have already been to N. America, Asia, and Europe this weekend)

One of the people I'm working with retires today after 50 years with the company! I can't imagine that figure... that's a half century of service with US Airways and its predecessors!

In case anyone wonders what I've been doing this month, let me tell you. In a period of only 10 days, I've done the following.

Driven 3662.4 miles/5896.46 km through 10 states (PA, WV, OH, IN, IL, FL, MS, AL, LA, GA)
Visited 8 National Parks and 1 state park. (Everglades, Big Cypress, Biscayne, and Gulf Islands in Florida, Steven C. Foster state park/Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia, Gulf Islands, Natchez, and Vicksburg in Mississippi and Poverty Point, Jean Lafitte NHP in Thibodaux for the state of Louisiana, and First Ladies NHS in Canton, OH)

Attended ACEN on Saturday 5/9 and Sunday 5/10- I got to meet several VA's and catch a bite to eat with Tiffany Grant on Saturday. Met Kaitlin Glass for the first time and saw Colleen Clickenbeard for the 2nd time, talked a little with Matt Greenfield as well. Saw Nabeshin and got a cool signature and pic with him. The line for Vic Mignogna was huge, good thing I came 90 mins early! It was nice to see him again, gave him some Princess Nine stuff, he was quite thrilled to recieve that gift!
