Happy New Year! New contest #9 to be announced tonight, and it will be Valentine's Day themed, so get ready to draw some romance! Contest will end on 2/15/2009 at midnight- I will be at a wedding on 2/14 so I won't be able to get onto the computer.

New Pokemon chapter tonight or sooner as well. Watch for it! New Ranma 1/2 chapter will be next, look for that in the next few days as well.

Bears lost sadly, and Minnesota won, so no playoffs for Chicago this year. With a heavy heart I will have to write chapter 2 of my football NGE story above with a Bears loss- at least Asuka will be happy, even if I'm not. I also got eliminated from the week's football pool as well, so I'm really depressed at the moment. All the flights are fogged out for today and I can't even view the info for tomorrow's flights on my companies website. One bad thing after another today... sigh. Where's that booze? ^_^



Now down to the main stuff!

I've had a lot of stuff happen recently and a bit of sad news to report so let's get down to business!

In case you haven't heard, the Voice actor Madeleine Blaustein, the english voice actor for Meowth from Pokemon ep 32 to 421, died recently. Meowth is one of my fav. characters and I was deeply saddened to hear the news! Here's a link to an article about it. [link]

Another tragedy hit today when I heard about the death of Majel Roddenberry, who was 76 and had lost her fight with leukemia. She was the widow of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and the voice of the computer in all the series, plus Deanna Troi's mother and Nurse Chapel in the original series. My old laptop died and I got a new laptop, here's a picture of it.

I'm working on a new NGE 2 chapter "one-shot" story, expect chapter 1 to be posted before Christmas. I should have a new Pokemon chapter posted with a week as well, then it's back to Ranma and Sailor Moon. Thanks to everyone that's been following my stories and sorry for the delays, real life has been busy for me recently.
